    The FHT folder in the Battlefield 1942/Mods folder is the one for the texture pack. Therefore there needs to be the FHT line in the FH init.con for the texture pack to run. If it's not there then none of the new textures will appear.

    I just wanted to add that I am loving this addon more and more everyday... love the new sounds...

    Just need to re-learn the rifle and smg sounds now...

    There's a newer one but the only difference is that it doesn't have the option to run the promblematical Activator. It's no big deal really. Thanks again for uploading.

    Yes - this one adds/fixes loads more sounds and textures to the ones in previous versions. It also automatically uninstalls any previous versions...

    You have your sounds settings at 22000/44000? (or whatever it is) It needs to be at either one to work properly, according to the readme. And the readme never lies.

    I have just played battle isle on the WAW Public Server, and while flying the P-38, noticed that there weren´t any engine sounds.

    Don´t know if it´s related with the pack or not. I have the sound to 44000, 32 channels and a Sounblaster Live!

    yea i only tested the p38 when i posted that....no engine sound, but u can hear its mgs and landing gear n what not, also restarted my computer while i was flying it...duno what thats about

    I already realized this silenced p38, sorry for that. I mixed a few things up with the p38 code because it's a bit unhandy. I'll fix it asap, only waiting for more bugs ,wich I maybe made, to fix

    Yay your here , Could you please please make the planesounds realistic
    That would be greatfull and will make your pack even cooler but i like it how it is now to

    So thats right the old stuka sound from 0.6 as BBB said really has to come back and the bombers all sound the same maybe you could give it a change Oh and the thing i like abound the B17 is when you go down you hear a cool sound that gives you the feeling your going to crash

    Sry Guys, no more Soundpacks This will be the last from my side. If I look back I released all together 4 soundpacks and it really cost too much valuable time sitting home and developing wich I actually needed for school. The only thing I'll doo is a bugfix and maybe an non-swastika skinpack for countrys where it is forbidden to public such symbols (like here in germany ) But don't worry, I think there are much talents around here, and who knows maybe there will be found a successor soon

    Ok guys, just a notice here to clarify something.

    A few people asked me whether the sound/texture pack may have caused the problems with last week's battle map (Midway). The answer is no. There is no possible way it could have crashed the server. Bratwurst and I checked the files and even if someone was having problems there is no way a client-side mini-mod could affect and crash a server.

    Lemme say it this way: If the texture or the soundpack really causes trouble you would get a critical error during the loading period of a map. trust me, I've tested it .

    Yeah, it's most likely your sound quality settings. The sound pack is only for 22 and 44 kHz (medium and high) I think that this means if you have it set to 11 kHz the sounds don't work.
