Ive been crashing lately and at a very high number I don't know why.I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything related to Bf1942 so any idea what maybe happening or solutions would be appreciated.

When does it crash? Is it at a specific spot?

A lot of times when I'm playing it'll crash either on a load-up or when i press escape to get to the main menu.

Vaughan didn't you upgrade recently? Perhaps you are underpowered like Distant was?? New vidcards can draw A LOT of power.

Check you temperatures, you may be overheating.

And if you are, please step away from the computer, otherwise it might get overheated.

Have you checked the rating of your power? You'll probably need atleast 400w or something for it to work good.

You need to take the cover off of your computer, then just look a the "box" where the powercord goes in. And there should be like a sticker on there with information about the powerrating and stuff.

So you checked your temps?

You might also want to check your RAM.
Download this image and burn it on a CD:
http://www.memtest86.com/download/memtest86-3.3.iso.zip

Note: Don´t burn the file itself but use the appropriate option in your burning tool. In Nero you have to choose "Burn image" for example.

Reboot your PC with the CD inserted and Memtest should start automatically.
Let is run for at least an hour and see if any errors come up.

Edit: Oh and the more you tell us about your PC the better we can help you. So you have upgraded? What did you change? Did you do any major software changes as well? Overclocking?
