So, it's taken us a while longer to get the promo material finished this campaign - however I'd say it's worth the wait. ADRIFTER has been tirelessly working on our newest WaW trailer for campaign 19 for many weeks and now the finished product is here.
I don't want to keep you waiting so view the trailer here then read on. Make sure to vote and add comments about WaW to the videos:

In order to keep WaW going strong, not just for this campaign, but in the long run we need to recruit more players and get them hooked on the tournament.
To this end we've put together our newest promo material.

We're sending the material to many BF2 and FH2 sites but now it's your turn to help spread the word about World at War. We need help to send the promo to many non-english sites and any other sites you know.

Here's what we need you to do to help WaW grow and remain the best place for organized FH2 teamplay.

- talk to your friends, co-workers and your gaming contacts and get them interested in playing FH2 the way it was meant to be played at WaW
- post in forums and on news sites that you're active in and build up an interest for WaW
- list other news sites and forums for us to contact

The main emphasis here is for you to go out and post in forums that you're an active member in and submit to other news sites that we haven't contacted yet or don't know of.

World at War Tournament on jo kuuden vuoden ajan luonut parhaat tiimipeluukokemukset Battlefield-peleille ja ylpeänä esittää 19. kampanjansa. Tällä kertaa luvassa on useita muutoksia pelimekaniikkaan sekä uusia karttoja, aseita ja ajoneuvoja.

Tämänhetkisessä kampanjassa ovat vastakkain brittiläinen Battlegroup 58 "Blackadder" puolustamassa imperiumia ja eurooppaa natsien ikeen alta. Toisella puolella italialainen 57. Libiche Divisione di Fanteria "Sibelle" on valmiina valloittamaan rooman imperiumin uudestaan itselleen.
Molempia divisioonia johtamassa ovat WaW-veteraanit jotka marssivat kohti voittoa sinun rinnallasi. Tulet taistelemaan yhdessä upseerien ja aliupseerien johdolla, osana ystävällistä ja avuliasta yhteisöä [b]ilman klaanien aiheuttamia vaatimuksia.[/b]

[b]** Mitä World at War voi tarjota sinulla? **[/b]

- Massiivisia 11 tunnin, 64 pelaajan taisteluja joka lauantai. Liity milloin haluat, niin pitkäksi aikaa kun haluat. Organisoidut taistelut antavat sinun pelata FH:ta kuin sitä on tarkoitus pelata.
- Täydellinen pelikokemus. Elä toinen maailmansota kuin olisit itse paikalla.
Aloita alokkaana ja taistele tiesi ylös komentoketjua aliupseeriksi tai jopa upseeriksi. Toimi yksikkösi kanssa täyden komentoketjun osana. Ansaitse arvomerkkejä ja mitaleja ja ole osa WaW historiaa. Ennen taistelua olevat strategiakeskustelut ja harjoitukset tekevät WaWistä ainutlaatuisen kokemuksen.
- Taistele erityisesti valituista ja optimoiduista kartoista ja ole osa lineaarista kampanjaa. Jokainen taistelu, jokaisen taistelun jokainen roundi on tärkeä kampanjan lopputuloksessa ja lopullisessa voitossa.
- Koordinoi komppanian muiden taistelutovereiden kanssa taistelua Teamspeak 2:n avulla. [b]Mikrofoni ei ole välttämätön[/b], mutta erittäin suositeltu. Ota osaa mekanisoiduissa hyökkäyksissä joissa jälkaväki, panssarit, ilmavoimat ja tykistö tukevat toisiaan.
- Koe erilaisia pelikokemuksia squad leader spawn-systeemin kanssa ja ilman. Tuomme takaisin taktisen taistelun kuten nähty FH1:ssä jossa sinun täytyy luottaa joukkueesi muihin miehiin pysyäksenne hengissä.
- Käytä uusia aseita ja ajoneuvoja jotka WaW-yhteisö on luonut: silloista bunkkereihin, IT-rekoista uusiin panssarivaunuihin.

Ja ettei menisi pelkästään mainospuheeksi: Itse olen ollut WaWissa campaign 8:sta asti, joka oli muistaakseni syksyllä 2006. WaWissa ei todellakaan ole kyse mistään klaanimatseista vaan erittäin mielenkiintoisesta tavasta pelata FH:ta. Mikäli olet kyllästynyt pubby-pelien tylsyyteen/idiootteihin/aavikkomaihin, suosittelen lämpimästi liittymistä. Tulevassa campaignissä 80% pelattavista maista ovat custom maita, joista suurin osa myös vihreitä!

Meillä on aika paljon suomalaisia mukana, molemmilla puolilla. Taistelut alkavat joka lauantai-ilta klo 19:00 ja jatkuvat aamukuuteen asti! Koko aikaa ei todellakaan tarvitse olla, senkus ilmestyy Teamspeakkiin ja liittyy peliin. Pelistä voi myös häipyä milloin huvittaa, kunhan asiasta ilmoittaa.

Har du lyst til å spille Forgotten Hope 2 sammen med et organisert lag? Er du lei av de samme gamle tilfeldige slagene på åpne servere? Har du sett deg lei av teamkillende smacktards? Har du fått nok av de samme gamle ørkenkartene og vil ha andre omgivelser? Har du lyst til å ta del i et internettsamfunn bestående av varierte gamere fra hele verden? Fra Canada til Australia, fra Nederland til Ungarn, og fra USA til Norge.
Da bør du sjekke ut World at War.

World at War er en turnering som har produsert det beste samarbeidet over Battlefield-plattformen de siste seks årene, og vi er stolte av å ønske deg velkommen til vår nittende turnering.

I år skal de allierte, representert av de britiske styrkenes 58. Battlegroup "Blackadder", forsvare vestlig sivilisasjon og slå aksemaktene på slagmarker i både Afrika og Europa. På aksemaktenes side setter italienerne sin lit til 57. Libiche Divisione di Fanteria "Sibelle", som skal erobre kontinentet og skape sitt eget imperium. Begge sidene blir ledet av erfarne WaW-spillere som vil kjempe ved din side. Sammen med offiser og underoffiserer kan du få smake på et ekte militært samhold, uten forpliktelsene som klanspilling krever

Hva har World at War-turneringen å tilby?

Gigantiske 11 timer lange 64-spiller-slag hver lørdag. Slåss når du vil, så lenge du vil. Organiserte trefninger gjør at du får spilt spillet slik det ble laget for å bli spilt.

En komplett spillopplevelse. Opplev den andre verdenskrigen som om du var der selv. Begynn som en vernepliktig menig og jobb deg oppover i det historiske rangsystemet, til du tar ledelsen som en NCO eller til og med som offiser. Tjen autentiske medaljer og sett ditt merke på WaW-historien. Forberedelsene foran slag gjør dette også til en unik opplevelse.

Kjemp i din del av krigen på håndplukkede og optimaliserte kart. Opplev slag i full størrelse med koordinerte angrep og forsvar. Hvert slag, ja, hver runde, teller mot den endelige seieren i slutten av turneringen.

Kompaniene koordineres over Teamspeak. Mikrofon er anbefalt, men ikke påkrevd. Opplev spenningen i å ta del i synkroniserte angrep med artilleri, fly, stidsvogner og infanteri. Men vær for all del forberedt på motangrep!

Opplev en mer variert spillopplevelse, både med og uten spawnbare squad-ledere. På enkelte kart har vi brakt tilbake den gode, gamle FH1-følelsen, der du må stole på lagkameratene dine for å holde deg i live.

Bruk nytt skreddersydd utstyr, alt fra broer og bunkere til AA-biler og den legendariske PzKpf III E.

From the start i just KNEW perf was doing the voice. Was kind of a cheesy voice, but otherwise a great trailer. Course, the halo 3 music felt massively misplaced. But that was some great editting and footage. I officially give you three thumbs up!(don't ask where the third is!!! O_O)

I think some of the FH1 stuff was the Omaha beach vid, although my one complaint is the pronunciation of Bastogne! Great vid though.

I have always been under the impression that it was pronounced: (phonetically spelled) Bas-Stone not Ba-Stone-Ya

The Vimeo link literally just finished processing after 12 hours, and now i have to upload it again....

BBC, some of the FH1 footage is indeed from Widow and Kimo's film "Gates of Hell". The rest of it however is new footage i shot on my laptop while on vacation a few weeks ago. I would have just used some of the old FH1 footage i shot from the WIP campaign 13 trailer, but i since i was away i didn't have access to that. I figured the new footage worked well, so i kept it anyway.

Thawk, i thought the same thing about the pronunciation, but i wasn't 100% sure either way, so i just kept it. Perf, you want to enlighten us on this one?

Tbh i'd of thought it would be pronounced like that and that Bas-stone is the dodgy US/UK way of pronouncing it. After some quick looking on the internet it appears it's a common thing with us English. For example, we pronounce Dordogne as Dordoin and Balogne as Baloin. Which is wrong. But in reality, we are English. So who gives a toss
